Steve Martin Is Following Me.

I received a text from a friend that was a picture of a section from her Psychology textbook about a woman who developed a fear that Steve Martin was following her. 

She sent this to me because somewhere along the way I have developed a reputation for loving Steve Martin. (And for being really fun at parties!) When you love a particular celebrity so much, you create a sort of freebie for other people when it comes to gift giving or conversation starters, for when they see something related to that celebrity, like Steve Martin, they instinctively notify you or buy it for you as a present.  I have been given four copies of Steve Martin’s Comedy Isn't Pretty on four different occasions. I hope to get that number up to seven by the end of the year. 

When I read about the woman in my friend's textbook, who thought she saw Steve Martin in a bush, all I could think was, “No fair!”

Like all girls who took a single Intro to Poetry Workshop, I learned I must channel my strong feelings into my “art”.
